SANTIAGO.- After raping and robbing a woman in Las Condes the night before last, the assailant (accompanied by two accomplices) proceeded to brag about what they had done in a taxi as they fled the scene of the crime. The driver of vehicle overheard the men talking about the crime and, after dropping them off in Quinta Normal, went immediately to the Carrascal police station to notify law enforcement. The cab driver’s statement allowed police investigators to identify Yuri Alfonso Arteaga Cartagena, 23,the main perpetrator in the rape and robbery of a 24 year-old woman with the initials F.G.C. in her apartment on La Macarena Street. SANTIAGO.- Durante todo el trayecto que siguió el taxi en que huyó el sujeto que antenoche asaltó y violó a una mujer en Las Condes, el delincuente, junto a otros dos cómplices, se jactó de lo que había hecho. Esto permitió que el chofer del vehículo se percatara del ilícito y tras dejarlos en Quinta Normal, acudiera de inmediato a la subcomisaría Carrascal para dar aviso a Carabineros.
