SANTIAGO.- Hoping to forget 1-3 defeat they suffered at the hands of O'Higgins in Rancagua, the Universidad Católica has now begun to focus on their upcoming clash with Huachipato at the Apertura Tournament. The practice held by Coach Marco Antonio Figueroa began at 11:00 am with an almost 30-minute long talk with the players about the group's performance against Jorge Sampaoli's team and rotation of players. Apparently aloof, Figueroa paced back and forth, moving closer to some of his assistants and seemed pensive about the UC's current...

Today, the maxillofacial surgeon at the Clínica UC de San Carlos de Apoquindo medical center, Dr. Hernán Ramírez, performed an almost 90 minute operation to insert a titanium implant into Martínez's face. "Hans is doing fine; he has already undergone surgery and we are very happy with the results. The area has been fixated with a titanium plate so that the facial bones remain in place; he will stay hospitalized for a few days", stated the physician. When asked how long Martínez would be hospitalized, the doctor indicated that the length of time would be decided on a "day to day basis" adding,...
